There are any different ways that you can increase the amount of testosterone in your body. Below is a list of tips and tricks that will enable you to cut down your production of estrogen (female hormone) and increase your production of natural testosterone.

The first is to make sure that you increase the amount of zinc that you get in your diet. The reason why zinc is so important is that it prevents the testosterone in your body from being converted into estrogen. There is a long list of food products that have a lot of zinc that range from Oysters to peanuts, liver and seafood and many others.

The second and very important way to increase your testosterone levels is by eating monosaturated fats and Omega-3 fats which have proven conclusively to increase testosterone levels. Foods like avocados, nuts and seeds, fatty fish like salmon and tuna, olives and many others which you can find with a simple search online. You should be eating 10 to 15% of your diet filled with these healthy fats.

The lower your body-fat the higher your testosterone levels will be. The reason is all because of an enzyme called aromatase which is responsible for turning any of your “manly” testosterone into “womanly” estrogen. Be careful of trying to lose too much fat too quickly as any starvation or a severe calorie deficit will slow your metabolism down as it goes into starvation mode.

You can help your body get rid of excess estrogen by simply eating correctly. It might sound strange but science has now proven that eating more RAW cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower will decrease the amount of estrogen that your body holds. The reason is that these cruciferous vegetables contain a chemical called diindolylmethane (or DIM) which gets rid of any excess estrogen that you may have.

A great tip is to avoid Xenoestrogens which are a man-made estrogens that are found in things like pesticides, artificial growth hormones & steroids, air fresheners and plastic containers and these xenoestrogens will increase your levels of the female hormone estrogen while lowering testosterone.

It is certainly not easy to stay away from the DMM completely but simply eating organic foods or meat that comes from an organic farm is a great way to start the process. You can do more by using glass products to store food & water instead of plastic since plastic products tend to produce xenoestrogens that'll get into your water & food especially when heated. Even some canned foods contain plastic coatings that contain xenoestrogens.

The advice on how to get rid of all DMM in your life is endless and includes things like stopping the use any perfumes, colognes, or air fresheners that have parabens listed as one of the ingredients. Parabens are xenoestrogens. If you would like to know more about these tips you will find a lot of info online if you want to make a complete abstinence of DMM you should know that it is not easy.

A university of Chicago study showed that men who got little sleep had way lower testosterone levels than men who got 6-to-8 hours of sleep. Another study shows that your testosterone levels can drop down by as much as 40 PERCENT when you don't get enough sleep. Your testosterone levels are 30% higher in the morning than in the evening and this is why you may be hornier in the mornings.

Although the tips and advice on increasing your levels of testosterone are endless, this article is going to end with something that we all suffer from and that is stress. The less you stress the more testosterone you will produce. Research led by Population Council endocrinologist Matthew Hardy found that stress hormones like cortisol overpower the enzymes responsible for ensuring that cells in the testes produce testosterone.
